Ferrari F8 Tributo goes off the road and overturns, cause of fatal accident sought

At around 8.50am on Sunday 5 March, South Yorkshire Police were called by a passer-by to report a collision on the A630 at Armthorpe near the roundabout with Herald Road and Thorne Road.

A red Ferrari F8 Tributo left the carriageway and struck a tree, tipping over on itself. There were no other vehicles involved in the accident. The driver, a 30-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. He has yet to be formally identified.

In a statement released Sunday, a police spokesman said, "Officers are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the accident or was driving in the area at the time and has dash cam footage that captured the vehicle prior to the collision to assist with the investigation."

Only the Ferrari involved

The removal of the Italian supercar
The Ferrari F8 Tributo was then removed from the scene of the accident the following day. Images from the scene of the accident show a flatbed tow truck using a crane to recover the smashed car from between the row of trees along the carriageway.

Causes of the accident are being sought
In a statement released Sunday, a police spokesman South Yorkshire said, "Officers are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the accident or who was driving in the area at the time and has dash cam footage that captured the vehicle before the collision to help with the investigation."
