Mexico, volcano emits exhalations and ash on neighbouring countries. The population prepares for the worst

The Popocatepetl volcano in Mexico has started to emit exhalations and ash.

The inhabitants of the villages surrounding the volcano, such as those in Atlixco, are experiencing some discomfort precisely because of this activity. The populations, however, are used to these phenomena as they have been living with them for years.

Local civil protection personnel are busy distributing masks to help citizens limit the consequences of the fumes and ash, while many people are busy clearing the streets of ash covering them.
