Black liquid in Rome's Trevi Fountain: environmentalists strike again, photos
A group of activists from the Last Generation movement threw black, charcoal liquid inside the Trevi Fountain.
During the action, a small banner for the "we don't pay for the fossil" campaign was also unfurled and the activists shouted, "our country is dying," amid insults from passersby and tourists.
On the scene officers of the "Trevi Group" of the local police of "Roma Capitale" and police. Some young people were reportedly identified.
