Thailand in the grip of pollution, photos

Severe air pollution, mainly caused by fine PM2.5 dust particles exceeding safe levels, returned to engulf Bangkok and many other Thai provinces.

According to the Thai Ministry of Public Health as of March 9, more than 1.3 million people have reported pollution-related illnesses since the beginning of 2023, with nearly 200,000 people hospitalized in the previous week alone.
