The most obvious effects of climate change that we are already experiencing

The damage of climate change is unfortunately already very evident.

The alarm has been raised by, among others, such a prestigious body as the United Nations, which has reported how rising temperatures, over time, are changing weather patterns and upsetting the balance of nature, posing risks to all living things on the planet.

Some of these changes are indeed very evident and we are down suffering the consequences. The challenge is global and affects everyone but action should be immediate.

Rising temperatures
One of the main consequences of climate change is rising temperatures, resulting in melting of glaciers, increased heat-related diseases, development of wildfires, and altered agricultural balances, among others.

More frequent storms and floods
Climate change and changes in temperatures also cause changes in rainfall patterns, with storms and floods occurring more frequently and more violently, resulting in damage to property and people (and loss of life).

Increased drought
Climate change is causing increased drought, with water becoming increasingly scarce in a large number of regions of the world. Deserts are expanding, creating difficulties for crops and food supplies.

Rising and warming oceans
Climate change causes ocean levels and temperatures to rise. The rise is caused by melting ice caps, thus becoming a danger to people living along the coasts.

Risk of extinction for many animal species
So many species are at risk of extinction due to climate change. Changed temperatures, habitat compromised, and deforestation caused by humans are some of the causes endangering many animals.

Increased hunger and malnutrition
Increased hunger and malnutrition are other serious consequences of climate change. This is because fisheries, livestock and agriculture may be destroyed or become less productive.
